A seaweed derivative celebrated for hydration and anti-aging benefits, thanks to its antioxidant-rich composition that combats free radicals, and its ability to retain moisture, nourish, and soothe the skin.

A well-known AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) that gently exfoliates the skin, removing dead skin cells, and revealing a fresher, more youthful complexion.

Retinoic Acid and Retinal are the main active metabolites of Vitamin A. Retinoic Acid dose-dependently regulates hair follicle stem cells, influencing the functioning of the hair cycle and wound healing. Melanocyte stem cells have been shown to help manage acne by regulating sebum production and provides relief to irritated skin.

Various natural extracts rich in vitamin C and other antioxidants, combines their brightening properties with moisturizing elements, aiming to maintain skin's vitality and youthfulness. These extracts work together to combat oxidative stress, free radicals, and signs of aging, all while stimulating collagen production for a radiant and rejuvenated complexion.

Renowned for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, this plant extract has shown to help manage acne and provide relief to irritated skin.

Exfoliation and Brightening

Improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and fade the visibility of hyperpigmentation with minimal downtime.

Hydration and Moisturization

Form a protective barrier on the skin, reducing dryness and roughness, to lock in moisture, preventing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and leaving the skin smoother and more hydrated.

Antioxidant Protection

Antioxidants from plant extracts contribute to a more youthful appearance by reducing the signs of aging and protect the skin from free radical damage caused by UV radiation and environmental pollutants.

Improved Skin Tone and Texture

The Powerlayering™ of extracts help maintain a balanced pH level in the skin, helping to refine skin texture, minimize the appearance of pores, and promote a smoother, more even complexion.

"Bladderwrack extract has been found to be rich in antioxidants, including vitamins A, C, and E, as well as minerals like iodine. These antioxidants help protect the skin from free radical damage and environmental stressors, which are major contributors to premature aging."1,2,3

Bladderwrack (Fucus Vesiculosus) is a type of seaweed that's abundant in minerals like iodine, calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, sulfur, and silicon, along with various vitamins.

The polysaccharides (such as alginates) found in Bladderwrack can hold significant amounts of water, thereby providing hydrating properties and forming a smooth film on the skin that can help aid in improving skin texture.

The antioxidants in Bladderwrack extract, like Fucoxanthin, may help to neutralize free radicals in the skin, which can contribute to protecting skin cells from oxidative stress and potentially mitigating signs of aging.

Lactic acid, a well-researched Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), works to rejuvenate the skin by dissolving bonds between dead cells, prompting gentle exfoliation and revealing underlying fresh, vibrant skin.

It helps promote cellular renewal, contributing to a more youthful appearance. Simultaneously, its exceptional hydrating properties enhance the skin's moisture retention, fortifying a resilient skin barrier.

Lactic Acid assists in maintaining a healthy skin pH, reducing the likelihood of irritation, and aids in lightening the appearance of hyperpigmentation, helping create a more even skin tone.

Mandelic Acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds that makes it a great exfoliating agent for all skin complexions, including sensitivity concerns.

Due to its larger particle size, it absorbs into the skin more slowly, which can result in less irritation on the skin's surface. It is effective in addressing hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and sun-damaged skin.

Through exfoliation, Mandelic Acid has antibacterial benefits that can help manage acne, helps skin appear firmer and more elastic, and reduces appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

How does it work?

Explained by our cosmetic chemist,
Dr. Ann Lee

In the pursuit of revitalized and healthy skin, the Organic Laser Peel uses a nuanced approach incorporating the strategic use of sea herbal extracts, minerals, and acids, designed to navigate through the skin's distinct layers. Pearls crafted from beneficial herbs and minerals are gently massaged into the skin to naturally augment its exfoliating capability, permeating through the stratum corneum and reaching as deep as the stratum granulosum layer of the skin.

What follows is Dermaesthetics' proprietary Powerlayering™ of Lactic Acid, Vitamin A, and Glycolic Acid - targeting and breaking down the skin where the pearls have been absorbed, to induce a gentle, controlled peeling effect. Vitamin A plays a pivotal role in reducing oil secretion, aiming to make the skin tighter and drier, while Lactic Acid hydrates and Glycolic Acid penetrates deep into the skin to exfoliate the skin layers.

This innovative peel methodology, which is part of our Powerlayering™ series, avoids the use of synthetic materials to establish a deeper, more robust peel. It is not merely a process of exfoliation and inducing a measured inflammatory response, but also a means of infusing the skin with potent nutrients while simultaneously expelling pollutants. Specific ingredients are designed to physically penetrate the epidermal layers of the skin to improve product absorption and dissolve within 48-72 hours.

Ultimately, this presents a safer, more effective means to peel, flake, and refresh the skin, ensuring it not only appears rejuvenated but also is fundamentally nourished and supported at a cellular level.

The peel is categorized as level 2 or level 3 based on the application of the Ageless Peel. An overnight application to be washed off the next day results in a level 3 peel, while a 20-minute application denotes a level 2 peel. Clients may experience minor flaking, but it's formulated to be painless.
